Music has the power to let my emotions in or to change my emotions for the better. Growing up in the arts has given me the opportunity to appreciate music through performing, but also through a musician’s storytelling and how it can connect people.

I’m Laura! I am a college student studying Communication at Southern New Hampshire University, aspiring to be a working professional in entertainment world.
I have acquired experience in marketing, public relations, social media, public speaking, writing, content creation, video production, journalism, A+R, problem solving and research. I participated in the National Student Exchange Program and just finished studying at Queens College in the fall of 2024.
My grandmother always tells me when I am performing to “tell my story.” SONIC STORYTELLING is a place where I can not only connect to a musician’s storytelling and find potential in a message no matter how big or small, but I can also tell my story as I find my place in the entertainment industry. I want to post my findings, research, reviews, interviews, and more so that I can reflect on my senior year and everything I have learned.
